The leaves, flowers, and seeds are all edible and incredibly fragrant and delicious. Our favorite way to use the seeds is in cookies, teas, and tossing in rice towards the end of cooking. The plant can grow to 5-6ft in some cases. By July it is loaded with flowers and is a host to endless beneficial insects and pollinators.
With its powerful taproot it can adapt to rougher or drier soils but would also thrive in rich soils.
