We are a husband and wife farming on our 3 acre permaculture homestead and nursery in Rhode Island. We are committed to packing the soil of the Earth with the roots of trees, shrubs, flowers and herbs that enrich the lives of all that encounter them. We seek out the very best sources for seeds and cuttings, drawing from some of the most esteemed breeding programs around the country as well as some of the incredible varieties we have grown ourselves and have found during many years of foraging. Our plants are grown in ways that go beyond organic, fed with rich compost powered by our chickens and mulched with hardwood chips and leaves to foster healthy fungal growth in the soil. Every plant you’ll find here provides many functions for the landscape. From copious amounts of delicious food, habitats for our animal and pollinator friends, stunning flowers and foliage, and ancient medicine. Our focus is on cold hardy, disease and pest resistant fruits and nuts with many other complementary plants for you to grow the edible landscape of your dreams!

We sell bare-root plants, plugs, and seeds for seasonal spring and fall shipping. Local pick-up is also available for potted plants from spring through fall. Reach out to us for more details on this :)
