Peach
A fresh, tree-ripened peach is near the top of any fruit eating experience! The luscious red-orange orbs burst with the essence of summer. Luckily they grow quite true to seed, meaning that these seedlings will have very similar characteristics to our cultivar parent trees that produce large, delicious fruits from which we collected the seed. Parents include Redhaven, Intrepid and a mystery peach that is our favorite of them all! Peach trees grow quickly and reach fruiting age before many other tree fruits. The small size of the tree works well in many different settings, and the pink flowers provide early season nectar and beauty to the landscape. They generally ripen late July-August but this will shift depending on your location. No orchard or food forest is truly complete without the beautiful, bountiful peach!
Zones 5-8
Sold as a dormant bare-root tree
